Police say they are investigating two separate shootings in Baltimore

BALTIMORE – Police are investigating two separate shootings that injured two men in different areas of the city on Saturday, Oct. 26.

In the first incident, officers responded to a local hospital around 1:10 p.m. after receiving a report of a shooting victim who had entered the building. Upon arrival, they found a 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound that was described as not life-threatening. Investigators determined the shooting occurred in the 200 block of North Eutaw Street, where a crime scene was identified. Central District detectives took control of the investigation.

Later in the evening, at approximately 7:27 p.m., police received a report of shots fired near Liberty Heights Avenue and Gwynn Oak Avenue. Officers also received information about a separate victim who arrived at a local hospital. At the hospital, they found a 33-year-old man with a life-threatening gunshot wound, now in critical condition. The initial investigation revealed that the shooting occurred in the 2400 block of West Belvedere Avenue. Northwest District detectives are handling the investigation.
