A multi-vehicle crash left drivers stranded on southbound I-25

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – A multi-vehicle crash near Castle Rock closed southbound I-25 Saturday evening.

CDOT and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office announced the closure. Deputies said southbound lanes were closed at Plum Creek and Wilcox due to a multi-vehicle crash.

They said they responded along with the Colorado State Patrol, Larkspur Fire Department officials and the Castle Rock Fire Department. So far, no one has said anything about the injuries or the cause of the accident.

The crash left many Denver commuters stranded on the highway for a while while officials responded. We will update this article if we receive more information.
