Sexual misconduct and ethical allegations are a recurring theme in recent U.S. politics, especially among those associated with Donald Trump’s presidency. From his nomination for his first term to his nomination for his second term, allegations of sexual assault, harassment and domestic violence have sparked much controversy. While some individuals have faced legal consequences or resigned from their positions, others have vehemently denied the claims, and some investigations have not led to charges. Ironically, the list starts with Trump.

1. Donald Trump: Accused of sexual harassment by over 25 women, including a civil lawsuit in which he was found liable for sexual abuse. He denies all allegations.

2. Matt Gaetz (nominated for a second term): Allegations of sex with a minor and paying women for sex, although no charges were filed.

3. Pete Hegseth (nominated for a second term): Accused of sexual assault, which he denies, claiming the meeting was consensual.

4. Robert F. Kennedy Jr (nominated for a second term): Accused of groping a former family nanny, he downplayed the incident in public remarks.

Data from the first term

Andrzej Puzder: Trump’s pick for labor secretary withdrew from office after domestic violence allegations surfaced, though some of the claims were later dropped.

Rob Porter: The White House staff secretary has resigned following allegations of domestic violence from two ex-wives, which he denied. Trump publicly defended him.

Ryan Zinke: The former home secretary faced allegations of inappropriate behavior towards women during his term, although he denied any wrongdoing.

David Sorensen: Trump’s speechwriter resigned amid allegations of domestic violence by his ex-wife, which he denied, maintaining he was the victim.

Tomek’s price: Although largely embroiled in financial scandals, the former health secretary has faced criticism for alleged ethical misconduct in his dealings with women.
