AND A year-long investigation by PennLive confirms this information. It found that most sexual assault victims had never been to a courtroom. Well, one central Pennsylvania woman might: After reporting that a man assaulted her, instead, she was charged.

Officials in counties across Pennsylvania are investigating a shockingly low number of reported sex crimes. Some are worse than others.

Data from the state court system showed that in four counties, more than 90% of all reported sex crimes never resulted in criminal charges, much less a conviction.
