A man accused of child sexual abuse tried to take a gun from an investigator, according to the Baldwin County sheriff

The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Mississippi man on suspicion of sexual abuse of a child.

In a press release, BCSO said 37-year-old Cordairo Samuel Oneal McCall was arrested Wednesday following an interview with the Criminal Investigations Division.

The department says that during his arrest, McCall resisted and attempted to disarm the investigator.

McCall was charged with sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12 and attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer. McCall is being held on $35,000 bail.
