Pennsylvania State Police have finally identified the remains of a teenage girl found 51 years ago in northern Lebanon County

Most obituaries published in the Reading Eagle are submitted through funeral homes and cremation companies, but we do accept submissions from families. Obituaries may be emailed to [email protected].

In addition to the text of the obituary, you can attach any photos you would like to include to your email. Please place the text of the obituary in a Word document, Google document or in the body of the email. The Reading Eagle also requires the ability to verify the death, so you must provide the telephone number of the funeral home or cremation company responsible for the deceased’s care, or a photo of the deceased’s death certificate. Please also include your name, phone number and address in this email.

All payments by families must be made by credit card. We will send you proof of your completed obituary before we request payment. However, the obituary cannot be started until full payment has been received.

Obituaries can be submitted at any future date, but to be published, they must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. the day before the race.
