One lawsuit against Diddy dropped. • Hollywood unlocked

On Wednesday, a federal judge in New York dismissed the complex civil lawsuit Sean “Diddy” Combs. The lawsuit was filed by a then-39-year-old man who alleged that Combs sexually assaulted him during a house party in 2022.

The plaintiff, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed that he was at a party with friends and consumed alcohol provided by other guests. “After drinking the beverage, plaintiff began to feel disoriented, lose control of his body and become unconscious,” the lawsuit reads in part. The man also testified that when he came to his senses, “he was in a dark bedroom with black walls, on a bed covered with black sheets. Everything around him was dark. Appellant was horrified when he noticed Combs on top of him and sodomizing him.

On Wednesday, the judge noted that the plaintiff had not obtained court permission to file the lawsuit under the pseudonym John Doe. As a result, it dismissed the case because “such proceedings must be commenced as a miscellaneous matter with the Court’s consent to conduct the proceedings under a pseudonym.”

All of the lawsuits filed against Combs by Houston-based personal injury attorney Tony Buzbee are composed of anonymous plaintiffs.

This week, an anonymous plaintiff associated with Combs filed a lawsuit against Buzbee, alleging that he and his company committed extortion.

Another person has come forward, claiming he was an actor in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He claims Combs and others committed sexual assault after luring him to New York with the promise of a potential role in a music video.

A man reported that he was given a soda that was tampered with, causing him to pass out.

“His vision was blurry, but he recognized Combs’ tattoo on his chest and the large gold chain with a jeweled cross that Combs wore during the interview. The plaintiff tried to fight him, but every time he tried to move he felt dizzy and nauseous. “In addition, Combs’ bodyguard held the plaintiff by the arms,” the lawsuit states.

In a statement to ABC News on Tuesday, Combs’ legal team responded to the lawsuit against Buzbee, stating: “The extortion lawsuit against Mr. Buzbee exposes his barrage of lawsuits against Mr. Combs for what they are: shameless publicity stunts designed to extract payments from celebrities who “They fear lies will be spread about them, just as lies were spread about Mr. Combs.”
