Paige Spiranac says women should be able to ‘accept their sexuality’

Paige Spiranac is not afraid to embrace her sexuality and is currently taking a stand against society’s criticism of women who do so.

The 31-year-old, who retired from professional golf to focus solely on content creation, replied to a tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter) dedicated to this very topic. The post in question was about popular singer Sabrina Carpenter and its ability to keep women as its target audience despite wearing underwear.

A user wrote: “Sabrina Carpenter is brilliant because she accepts her sexuality but still considers women as her target audience. For example, how does he perform in underwear and I still feel like it’s not for men at all? I can’t understand it, but I love it.”

This prompted Spiranac to react strongly, stating that she doesn’t like the way women “pick and choose” when to support other women, and that if a woman feels empowered by accepting her sexuality, she shouldn’t feel judged for it . Her full statement reads:

“I don’t like how women choose when to support other women in accepting their sexuality, depending on whether it is directed towards the female or male gaze. Women should be able to accept their sexuality if it makes them feel empowered. First, he shouldn’t be called a genius while the second is called an attention whore for doing the exact same thing.

Several fans immediately shared comments sharing Spiranac’s glowing opinion.

“Sermon!” one person wrote.

Another fan agreed with Spiranac and wrote, “I agree, I think women who say things like that just want to feel better than others.”

“Double standards are always suspicious,” wrote a third person.

Spiranac’s influence as a gold maker cannot be denied. Since making it her main career goal, she has amassed a huge following on social media, including four million followers on Instagram. Her posts included some of them amazing lookincluding her latest miniskirt cut when unpacking some equipment. That said, Spiranac’s success continues to prove critics of her content style wrong.
