Several actors and celebrities have expressed their condolences following the death of Real Housewives star Matt Byars. According to the US Sun, the 37-year-old actor died on Friday, November 21, by suicide.

According to Matt Byars’ autopsy report, he died from “multiple blunt force injuries consistent with an act of ‘suicide.’ Melissa Gorga, Matt Byars’ co-star and friend, confirmed the news of his death and expressed her condolences on his passing.

Who is Matt Byars?

Matt Byars is a talent manager who has starred in several American shows and films. He has appeared on The Real Housewives of Potomac numerous times, and first appeared on the show in 2018 alongside Karen Huger.

According to the New York Post, American television personality Karen Huger described Matt Byars as an “energetic person” and “a very successful young man.” During a previous interview, Karen Huger also mentioned how she encouraged Matt Byars to face life’s challenges with a positive attitude.

“I encourage Matt when life is hard. Many people in Potomac call me ‘Mama Karen’ because I love helping young people,” Huger was quoted as saying by the New York Post.

Applauding Matt for his friendly nature, Karen Huger said, “He’s with everyone! And I love it. He is an energetic person and a very successful young man with powerful connections.”

The TV actress has not yet officially reacted to the news of Matt Byars’ death. However, in an interview with the American magazine “People”, she expressed regret about the news

“I will always remember Matt as the radiant, compassionate 17-year-old I met many years ago. His true heart and boundless energy uplifted everyone around him. “Matt was not only a beloved person in the RHOP and Bravo community, but also a determined and driven young man with strong ties to the Huger family,” Hughen told People.
