Connor, then 24 and a staunch supporter of Scientology like his dad, tied the knot with his Italian girlfriend Silvia in a church-approved ceremony. However, according to Radar Online, Tom had no intention of letting Nicole near the guest list. “Tom is behind it and what he wants is as good as the law,” the insider revealed. Apparently, Connor “worships the ground his father walks on” and wasn’t angry with him for this decision.

This is where it gets even more interesting. Sylwia, called “Scientology Princess” (no, really), gained Tom’s full approval, and her family even moved from Italy to Florida to live at the church headquarters. Meanwhile, Nicole? She received nothing more than a simple invitation.

And it’s not even the first time. Nicole she also missed her daughter Isabella’s wedding a few years earlier. Ouch. While rumors of tension between Nicole and her adopted children have always swirled, she has always chosen the controversial route. In a rare statement to Who magazine, she said: “They are adults. They have made the decision that they want to become Scientologists, and it is my job as a mother to love them.”
