Police say a New Jersey teenager died in a crash on a snowy road in Pennsylvania

Authorities said Saturday that a 19-year-old New Jersey woman died in a crash on a snowy road in Pennsylvania Friday morning.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Zy’Yonnah Dully of Ewing was driving on Houston Township Hoovertown Road, Route 153, just before 11 a.m.

Police said Dully was driving south when her vehicle began hydroplaning on a layer of snow.

The 2003 Buick Le Saber Dully was driving veered off the lane and struck a 2011 Peterbilt 389 traveling northbound. Police said Dully was wearing a seat belt, but she died at the scene.

Authorities have not released the condition of the Peterbilt truck driver.

According to the National Weather Service, approximately 0.01 inch of precipitation fell in the area while state police responded to the crash.

A crash closed Hoovertown Road for several hours Friday morning. according to the report.
