A murder-suicide involving a mother and two children is under investigation in Delaware County

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office said it found an abandoned vehicle on the morning of November 23 with a deceased woman and two children inside.

The sheriff’s office said the vehicle was found near Highway 85 and East 340 Road.

They said a preliminary investigation identified the woman as Alisia Pena of Tulsa and her two children. Both children are under ten years old.

The sheriff’s office said it believed the deaths were the result of murder or suicide on the mother’s part, but the official cause and manner of death would be determined by the medical examiner.
