A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Phoenix

PHOENIX – A man was killed Saturday in Phoenix after a single-vehicle collision with a motorcycle, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

At 15:15, Officers responded to a crash in the area of ​​South 44th Street, where 34-year-old Jovany Aceves was found with serious injuries.

He was taken to hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Police said Aceves was driving southbound on 44th Street at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a nearby pole.

The investigation remains ongoing.
