Two people died in a crash in Pleasant Grove on Sunday morning

DALLAS – Dallas police were called to an accident on N Masters Dr. and Elam Rd. in the Pleasant Grove neighborhood of Dallas early Sunday morning.

The accident occurred around 5 a.m. and involved a box truck and a red sports car.

Police say two people traveling in a red sports car died in the accident.

Police say the driver of a sports car was traveling east on Elam Rd. approaching N Masters Dr. when it collided with a northbound box truck.

The sports car drove under the middle of the truck.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
