JAKARTA, Nov. 24 (Xinhua): Six people were killed and seven others injured in landslides and flash floods that hit Indonesia’s North Sumatra province on Saturday, according to a rescue worker. The head of the Kamellia Provincial Search and Rescue Bureau’s operational unit told Xinhua that natural disasters occurred in two regencies.

Landslides hit Padang Lawas Regency at 1:00 a.m. local time, leaving four people dead and four injured. At 1:30 a.m. local time, it hit the South Tapanuli Regency, killing two residents and injuring three others.
