One person died after a car crashed into a home in Millcreek

Millcreek Twp., Pennsylvania (WJET/WFXP) – One person was killed after a car crashed into a home in Millcreek Township early Sunday morning.

Crews were originally called to a traffic accident that quickly turned into a structure fire in the 5000 block of Cherry Street around 2:20 a.m.

The services quickly started to extinguish the fire. The house was left with significant damage throughout the interior.

All residents of the house, including the dog, got out safely. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroner was on scene as crews began investigating the accident.

The driver’s identity has not been revealed yet.
