2 MPD officers were injured in a collision with another vehicle

Minneapolis police said two officers were injured in a collision with another vehicle on Saturday.

Investigators say two officers were driving a patrol car with lights and sirens on at Chicago Avenue and 9th Street South around 10:31 p.m. Saturday. They then collided with a security vehicle.

Two officers were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

The Minneapolis Traffic Investigation Division and MPD are investigating the crash.
