New Delhi: An airline employee was arrested on Sunday after a woman alleged that she suffered sexual assault at Vasant Kunj in southwest Delhi.
According to the police, the woman filed a formal complaint alleging repeated sexual assaults by the accused, who also blackmailed her by threatening to reveal her nude photos and harm her family.
The police investigation revealed that the woman and the suspect met on social media. The woman alleged that after meeting face to face, the accused sexually assaulted her while she was under the influence of alcohol. He then used her private photos to blackmail her.
The woman claimed that during one incident she suffered sexual violence from the accused and his brother. The police are investigating the involvement of the accused’s brother.
