2 people rescued from multi-vehicle crash in southeast austin

An Austin Fire Department crew rescued two people trapped in a crash that occurred Sunday morning in southeast Austin.

The Austin Fire Department reported a crash in the area of ​​Old Lockhart Road and E. Slaughter Lane, east of Bluff Springs Road, at 10:18 a.m. on Nov. 24.

A caller to the scene reported that two people were trapped, multiple vehicles were involved and one was on its side.

Firefighters managed to free two trapped people.

ATCEMS reported that a total of four patients participated in the study: three adults and one child.

One adult was seriously injured and taken to Dell Seton. Another adult and a child were transported with minor injuries.

A third adult suffered minor injuries but refused transport, ATCEMS reports.
