Case details

Robbins was pronounced dead at the scene. The complaint says her white Jeep hit a tree, overturned and landed on a fence. A white Nissan was also involved in the accident.

According to the complaint, investigators identified the driver of the Nissan as Dickerson. He left the scene before police arrived.

The complaint states that surveillance video from a nearby school showed Robbins’ and Dickerson’s vehicles traveling west on Brown Deer Road and both speeding. Robbins attempted to swerve into Dickerson’s lane, where the two vehicles collided. Robbins’ vehicle left the roadway and Dickerson’s vehicle slowed and stopped.

Dickerson was arrested later that night. The complaint said he admitted he did not have a valid driver’s license but did not know his license had been revoked. As for the accident itself, he said he remembered the white Jeep speeding and changing lanes before the accident, but he thought he blacked out for about a minute.

Dickerson also told police that the fire department treated him at the scene and then he left. He added that the police did not respond for about an hour after the accident.
