Israel’s retaliatory attack Iran damaged at least two secret military bases that allegedly helped produce missiles that Tehran used in its attacks on the Jewish state earlier this year, according to satellite images.

Images from Planet Labs show extensive damage at the Parchin and Khojir military bases, located southeast of Tehran, according to an Associated Press analysis.

The Parchin base that once was linked to Iran’s nuclear weapons programsuffered much greater damage, and the entire building was destroyed as a result of the Israeli attack that took place early Saturday morning.

The Albright Institute for Science and International Security identified the destroyed Parchin building as the “Taleghan 2” facility, where Iran allegedly once conducted explosives tests on uranium cores.

It is unclear whether any equipment related to the nuclear program remained at Parchin after the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) gained access to the site in 2011.

Satellite images also show visible damage to at least two buildings at the Khojir base, where experts have warned of a hidden underground tunnel housing some of Iran’s missile manufacturing facilities.

Burned fields were also spotted near the Tange Bijar natural gas site in Ilam, one of three provinces that Iran said were hit by the attack, but it is unclear whether the damage was the result of the Israeli attack.

Damage was also reported at the Khojir military base, accused of hiding facilities for the production of ballistic missiles.

The Jewish state has said it avoids attacking any Iranian oil or nuclear facilities warnings from the USA and Gulf states that such an attack would likely trigger an all-out war in the Middle East.

Rafael Mariano Grossi, who heads the IAEA, confirmed that Friday’s strike had no impact on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Israeli officials said they, Parchin and Khojir hit several warehouses and buildings that Iran used to build its arsenal of ballistic missiles, which it used to attack Israel earlier this month and in April.

Tehran said the Israeli attack was centered around Eelam, as well as the provinces of Khuzestan and Tehran.

Iranian officials said four soldiers were killed in the attack, after Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that his nation would take revenge on Israel.
