Bhopal: A 31-year-old man died as a result of alcohol consumption poison. The police believe he committed the crime suicidebut the reasons for this extreme step remain unclear.
The incident was reported at Ratibad police station. The police said that the situation would become clear after recording the statement of the grieving family.
Police said the deceased was identified as approx Rameshwarresident of Nathu Barkheda, consumed pesticide on Friday evening and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
He lived with his parents, wife and children. In the initial investigation, the family was unable to reveal any reasons for such a drastic step, police said, adding that the man worked in agricultural fields. His family also worked as farm workers. According to the family, it was a normal day and they had dinner in the evening.
Police said that when his condition began to deteriorate, the man confessed to his family that he had consumed poison, after which he was taken to hospital.
The police ruled out that they had found a suicide note or the reason that led the man to commit suicide, adding that the incident would become clear as the investigation progresses. tnn
