Records show a probation officer met with Johnson to put an ankle monitor on him, but during the meeting he heard Johnson mumbling, after which the suspect asked, “Can I give you something back?”

Johnson then allegedly reached into his pocket and pulled out a magazine, documents state. He then allegedly reached into his pants, pulled out a gun and placed it on the table.

Johnson has since been charged with possessing a firearm in a prison, raising questions about where the gun came from and how long he kept it in prison.
