Two people injured in a crash in Dent County after a car ran a red light at an intersection

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported that two people were injured in a car crash on Saturday.

Felton Metcalf, 42, of Rolla, was driving a 2011 Cadillac CTS eastbound through the intersection of Highways 32 and 19 in Dent County.

Documents show Metcalf ran a red light at the intersection and struck a 2014 Ford Expedition heading south.

Metcalf suffered serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to University Hospital by MU Air Care.

One of the occupants of the Ford was moderately injured and taken to Salem Memorial Hospital by the Salem Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services team.

MSHP noted that both occupants of the Ford were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident, but Metcalf was not.
