Youth injured in an alleged knife incident at KFC in Rosny Park

Before: A young person has suffered non-life-threatening injuries following an alleged stabbing incident at KFC in Rosny Park this evening.

Police were called to the fast food restaurant on Rosny Road at around 5.40pm on Monday after receiving reports of an “argument”.

A Tasmania Police spokesman said the incident involved “parties believed to be known to each other”.

After the incident, the restaurant was closed and staff vehicles blocked the driveways.

Police say they remain on scene and are investigating.

The Rosny KFC store is located directly across the street from the Bellerive Police Station.
