An Ontario man has been charged in three cities after a domestic incident, assault and resisting arrest

State police say a local man is facing charges in several cities after a domestic incident and assault.

State troopers arrested Jacob M. Daskiewich, 29, of Ontario, after a series of incidents that began with a domestic dispute on Route 350 in Walworth.

Daskiewich allegedly argued with his girlfriend, took her phone to prevent her from calling 911, and stole her credit card, leading to charges of criminal mischief, criminal mischief and petty theft.

Officers arrested Daskiewich at his Ontario residence, where he resisted and fought with soldiers, resulting in additional charges of resisting arrest. At the Williamson barracks, he allegedly spat at officers and refused to be fingerprinted, prompting further charges of obstruction and resisting arrest.

A day earlier, Palmyra Village police charged him with harassment and obstruction after he refused to leave a liquor store, shoved a clerk and fought with officers. Daskiewich was remanded in custody and will appear in three courts on separate dates.
