York murder investigation: four arrested after man dies, two injured

Police said two men were arrested on suspicion of murder after a man’s death and two other people were injured at a house in York.

North Yorkshire Police said officers were called to an address on Vyner Street in the Haxby Road area at 7.20pm GMT on Saturday.

A man in his 20s and 30s, both from the York area, were arrested on suspicion of murder, while a woman in her 30s and a man in his 60s were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Det Supt Fran Naughton said extra patrols were carried out in the area following the incident.
