Police provide an update on the case of an 8-year-old girl injured in a shooting in London

We expect police to receive new information soon after an eight-year-old girl and a 34-year-old man were taken to hospital following a shooting in Ladbroke Grove, west London.

The girl’s condition is stable and her life is not in danger. The man’s condition is unknown, and a 32-year-old woman was also taken to hospital as a precaution, police said.

We expect to hear from Met Police Chief Superintendent Owen Renowden in around 20 minutes.
