Redding man arrested for DUI after ATV overturned on Tanglewood Drive

On Sunday, November 24, the Redding Police Department (RPD) responded to an alcohol-related collision involving an all-terrain vehicle.

RPD and medical personnel responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Tanglewood Drive near Canby Road around 5:15 p.m.

The driver, Brandon Jackson, 42, of Redding, was found to be allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. An initial investigation revealed the pair were traveling on Whet Owl Drive and then turned right onto Tanglewood Drive at a high rate of speed, causing the vehicle to roll over.

Jackson was later arrested and booked into the Shasta County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence. Both Jackson and his wife, who was his passenger, suffered moderate injuries in the crash.
