The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in talks with China regarding a ship linked to the cutting of undersea cables

Denmark, which is monitoring a Chinese ship anchored off its coast after two cables were cut in the Baltic Sea, said on Monday it was in talks with China above the ship.

In a statement to Agence France-Presse, Denmark’s foreign ministry said it was “in dialogue with the countries most committed to resolving this matter, including China.”

She added that she could not provide any details about the “diplomatic dialogue”.

On November 17 and 18, sections of two telecommunications cables were cut in Swedish territorial waters in the Baltic Sea.
