Conor McGregor loses his first contract with the brand after the court verdict

Conor McGregor’s reputation took a hit after Friday’s civil court ruling in which a jury found the UFC star liable for a 2018 sexual assault.

It’s been a dramatic few days for McGregor, to say the least, as he walked out of a Dublin courthouse and was branded a rapist on social media, where it was announced that the UFC fighter had lost one of his brand’s latest deals .

UFC News: Conor McGregor Surprises Fans as Target in New ‘Hitman’ DLC.

Earlier this year, McGregor was selected as a target in the Hitman: World of Assassination DLC, taking on the role of “The Disruptor” – a multi-billion dollar MMA star (sound familiar?) that Agent 47 was tasked with assassinating.

On Monday, Hitman developer IO Interactive revealed it would eliminate McGregor from the game entirely.

“In light of the recent court ruling regarding Conor McGregor, IO Interactive has decided to immediately cease cooperation with the athlete,” announced the developer on X. “We take this matter very seriously and cannot ignore its consequences. As a result, we will begin removing all content featuring Mr. McGregor from our stores starting today.”

Conor McGregor has numerous companies and brands, most of which are under his control, although there is no telling how many collaborations or partnerships “The Notorious” may lose as a result of the civil court judgment and the PR hassle that comes with it.
