Body of missing Santaquin man found – family appeals to those in need for help: “Your life matters so much”

SANTAQUIN, Utah (ABC4) — The body of a Santaquin man who had been missing since Friday, November 22, was found Sunday evening.

Tom Galloway’s family posted the news on social media shortly after noon on Monday, three days after the tragedy A 30-year-old man was reported missing. It was found in Goshen, Utah, a small town about seven miles east of Santaquin.

“The family extends its sincerest gratitude to each and every person who helped spread the word and joined the search for Tom during these difficult days,” the family said in a statement. “Your support, compassion and efforts have meant so much to them during this difficult time.”

Galloway’s family said he was the life of the party and described him as an outgoing and lively person. He loved musical theater, his cats and horror movies. Following his death, the family stated that they wanted to emphasize the importance of mental health and suicide awareness.

“If you or someone you know is struggling, please know that you are not alone,” the family said. “Help is available and your life matters.”

A GoFundMe has been set up to help Galloway’s loved ones. According to the family, all proceeds will go to Galloway’s husband and help with funeral and celebration of life expenses.
