Man arrested after allegedly refusing to leave hotel room while armed with a gun

A man has been arrested after he allegedly refused to leave a hotel room in Sydney’s central business district this afternoon while allegedly armed.

Police say at 1:15 p.m. today, management at a hotel on Broadway in Chippendale asked a man to leave.

The man allegedly refused to leave the scene and was armed with a gun. 

A 43-year-old man was detained and taken to the police station at ul.

A crime scene has been established. 

He helps the police in investigations.
