Woman charged after motorcyclist dies in Williamsburg crash: VSP

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – A woman has been charged with dangerous driving after a crash that killed a motorcyclist in Williamsburg Saturday night, Virginia State Police said.

State police said the crash happened around 9:20 p.m. on Richmond Road.

According to a state police news release, Misty May Sites, 45, of Williamsburg, was turning into the McDonalds parking lot when she struck 29-year-old Jose Luis Encarnacion Mora, who was riding a moped.

The release said Encarnacion Mora of Williamsburg died from his injuries.

“Misty Sites was charged with dangerous driving,” state police said. “At this time it does not appear that alcohol or speed was a contributing factor to the accident.”
