Greenville officer, suspect injured in shooting

GREENVILLE, Texas (KLTV) – The Greenville Police Department says an officer has been involved in a shooting.

Around 8 p.m. Monday evening, both the unnamed officer and the suspect were injured in the shooting and are receiving medical attention. No information about their conditions had been released as of Monday evening.

Texas Rangers with the Texas Department of Public Safety will investigate the officer-involved shooting as per protocol.
