Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebert she briefly followed her former colleagues Matt Gaetz AND Jerzy Santos on the paid video app Cameo – and then abruptly deactivated her account.

Controversial Colorado representative posted a clip Saturday in which he offered “America First motivational speeches,” birthday greetings or other recorded messages for a fee of $250 or more.

The report reportedly did not initially identify her as the congresswoman’s maid, instead describing her as an “influencer,” “political commentator” and “not your typical Republican politician.”

But according to reportsthe account soon stopped accepting reservations and then went completely offline after experts questioned whether it would violate congressional ethics laws.

Members of Congress cannot receive money or “things or values” for speeches or media appearances, known as “honoraria,” and cannot earn more than $31,815 in outside income.

While Boebert’s fellow Republicans, Matt Gaetz and George Santos, do share videos on Cameo, both have resigned from their seats.

“Hey Cameo, this is your girl from Colorado, Lauren Boebert,” the 37-year-old said in her now deleted video. “I’m very excited to join another platform where I can directly engage with fans around the world.”

“Whether you or someone you know needs an America First pep talk, wants to surprise friends or family with news on their special day, or just wants to hear my thoughts on anything you’re thinking about, Cameo This is the place where you can connect with me.”

Cameo allows actors, musicians and other prominent people to earn money by recording short video messages for their fans (or haters).

Aaron Scherb, senior legislative director at the policy watchdog group Common Cause, he said Colorado Politics that it is unclear whether Boebert’s testimony would be admitted because the House Ethics Committee has not yet taken up the issue.

“Until they provide some formal guidance, the expectation is that members will likely be able to sign off on it,” Scherb said. “It looks like this could potentially violate the royalty ban, but it hasn’t been tested.”
