Many people reacted to his performance on social media.

StatMuse: “Russell Westbrook in the fourth quarter:

24 points
8-11 FG
3-4 3P

He scored the most points in one quarter of his career.”

@TheWestWolfPod: “I think Russell Westbrook’s defense will be a big help for the Nuggets in the next few minutes. Plus his passing ability.

I believe Russell Westbrook is the Nuggets’ best defender, behind Aaron Gordon, who is currently injured. I’m talking about all aspects of defense.”

@SkyForcein4: “Westbrook is single-handedly trying to bring new elements back into this game.”

@teddygreeniii: “Westbrook’s athleticism has to be in the top 2 percentile among people. Counting your longevity.”

@TownsMuse: “Westbrook is a funny player, he’s playing 110% after being 30 points behind”

@ZekeNYKnicks: “Wow, Russell Westbrook still has amazing transition speed.”

@MilesDoesntCare: “Russell Westbrook is starting a clinic”

@JSG206: “We took this guy Westbrook to the vet lol he was an absolute monster for us”

The Nuggets’ next game is Wednesday night, visiting John Collins and the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.

Westbrook is in his 17th NBA season (and first time playing for the Nuggets).
