Stolen car involved in a crash in Toronto that sent 4 teenagers to hospital

Five people were taken to hospital, including four teenagers, after a stolen vehicle crashed in Scarborough late Monday night.

The two-vehicle collision occurred near Eglinton Avenue and Brimley Road around 10:30 p.m.

Paramedics told CP24 that four teenagers traveling in the same vehicles were taken to a trauma center for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police confirmed that two men and two women are currently in custody in connection with the accident.

According to a paramedic, the passenger of the second vehicle involved in the incident suffered minor injuries.

The Special Investigation Unit is now investigating the circumstances of the crash.
