Laxmi, a resident of Bhagathnagar in Karimnagar city, died on Tuesday due to ill health. She was the wife of retired MEO and teacher union leader Pentaiah.

Karimnagar: Veeragoni Laxmi’s body was handed over to the Chalmed Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences under the aegis of Sadashaya Foundation national president Sravan Kumar on Tuesday.

Laxmi, a resident of Bhagathnagar in Karimnagar city, died on Tuesday due to ill health. She was the wife of retired MEO and teacher union leader Pentaiah. Earlier in the past, Pentaiah and Laxmi had come forward to donate their bodies to a medical college for post-mortem research and had given written consent to the Sadashaya Foundation.


Respecting her aspirations, the family donated her body to the medical school. Relatives, well-wishers, political leaders and others not only paid tributes to Lakshmi but also appreciated the family members.

Medical college principal Dr Yasin and anatomy head Dr Anitha also appreciated the family members and the Sadashaya Foundation.
