KPHB Police today caught a woman for stealing gold ornaments from jewelry shops – Telangana

Woman Putta Sunitha (40), a resident of Miyapur, disguised as a customer, went to a jewelry shop in KPHB on Saturday and distracted the seller on the pretext of buying ornaments.

Hyderabad: The KPHB on Tuesday, police arrested a woman who allegedly stole gold ornaments from jewelry stores, distracting the sellers.

Woman Putta Sunitha (40), a resident of Miyapur, disguised as a customer, went to a jewelry shop in KPHB on Saturday and distracted the seller on the pretext of buying ornaments. While the seller was busy showing the ornaments, the woman took the necklace weighing seven tolas and fled the spot, Kukatpally ACP K Srinivas Rao said.

Based on the complaint, the police formed special teams and nabbed the woman. During the interrogation, the women revealed their involvement in four cases. The woman was arrested and brought to court. She was temporarily arrested and sent to prison.
