Obituaries submitted on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. only by e-mail [email protected]

(No proof will be provided. Prices will not be available until the next business day after 10:00 a.m. by calling Dianne at 610-915-2226)

Obituaries sent after the deadline will not be published in the next issue of the magazine.

Sending procedure:

The preferred method of receiving obituaries is by email (and the only method on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays). These can be sent to [email protected] (call and confirm receipt of email)

Formatting:

Obituaries will still look the same visually as they do now, but you will no longer be limited in what you can say (e.g., you can list as many family members as you want; phrases like “I went to rest with the Lord” are now acceptable)

Other:

There is a fee for each obituary. Prices and payments are only available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All entries submitted on weekends and holidays will be paid the next business day.

Exceptions:

All new accounts, foreign funeral homes and individuals will require prepayment upon approval of the obituary. Weekend and holiday workers are not authorized to create a new account or process payments

The deadline for the above is 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. only (holiday schedules may vary).

Applications requiring prepayment will be processed on the first business day following a weekend and/or holiday. Full name, address and best contact telephone number are required when submitting an obituary request to set up an account. Your proof will then be emailed to you for review but will be held until payment is received.
