One person killed and three others taken to hospital following head-on collision on Lake of the Ozarks

One person died and three others were injured following a two-vehicle accident on November 25.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country was traveling southbound on Route F, north of Rockdale Drive.

On Monday around 4 p.m., a 2014 Dodge Journey driven by a 37-year-old Sunrise Beach man crossed the center of the road after exiting a curve and struck a Chrysler head-on.

Medical Examiner Drew Hall pronounced the man dead at the scene at 5 p.m

A 50-year-old female driver of the minivan suffered moderate injuries in the crash, a 14-year-old female passenger suffered minor injuries and a 12-year-old female passenger was seriously injured.

The woman and two girls were transported to Lake Regional Hospital by Lake West EMS.

MSHP noted that the 50-year-old woman and the 14-year-old woman were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident, but the man and the 12-year-old woman were not.
