One person is dead after a crash in McKenzie County

MCKENZIE COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) – One person was killed following a two-vehicle crash in McKenzie County early Tuesday morning.

On November 26 at 3:36 a.m., a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on Highway 23 when the driver struck the rear of a semi-truck.

The press release said the driver of the Silverado, a 43-year-old man from El Dorado, Kansas, died at the scene from his injuries. The driver of the semi-truck, a 34-year-old man from Westport, Washington, was not injured.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Officials say names will be released once family is notified.
