The fatality in a Hanson County crash has been identified

ALEXANDRIA, SD (Dakota News Now) – 68-year-old woman fatally injured in car crash disaster near Alexandria on Saturday he was identified.

Lois Kelli Watson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, was driving a 2024 Chevy Silverado westbound on I-90 near mile marker 344.

Watson entered the median, overcorrected, entered the north ditch and the vehicle rolled.

Watson was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

A 62-year-old passenger in the vehicle was transported to a Sioux Falls hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
