Security guard at New York migrant shelter arrested for allegedly molesting two young sisters: sources

Law enforcement sources say a security guard was arrested Monday night for allegedly molesting two young sisters at an Upper West Side migrant shelter.

According to cops and sources, alleged creeper Oscar Delgado, 38, inappropriately touched an 11-year-old sibling and an 8-year-old child in the hallway of a shelter on West 88th Street near Riverside Drive around 7 p.m.

Authorities said Delgado approached the children playing and allegedly squeezed the older girl’s buttocks, fondled her and tried to put his hands down her pants.

The patient then allegedly turned to his younger sister and touched her vagina on her clothes, police said.

Sources say the older girl reported the disturbing behavior to her mother, who called 911.

Both girls – who were staying at the shelter – were taken to Mount Sinai Morningside for treatment.

Authorities said Delgado was arrested at the scene and faces charges including sexual abuse, forcible touching and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

The facility – formerly used as the New York Institute of Technology’s Riverside Terrace Residence Hall – opened last year as an emergency shelter amid the migrant crisis, As the Post reported at the time..

The building had a capacity of 125 rooms.
