Girls aged 3 and 4 died as a result of an accident under the influence of alcohol

RIALTO, Calif. (KABC) — It’s a heartbreaking story out of Southern California.

Family members have already identified two young girls who died Sunday night in Rialto, about 55 miles east of Los Angeles, in an apparent drunk driving accident.

Relatives say 3-year-old Alinah Flores and her 4-year-old sister Neveah died in the crash.

According to police, a pickup truck ran a red light and hit their sedan.

The girls’ parents survived the accident.

On Monday, family members gathered for a vigil to remember both girls. They left flowers, candles, stuffed animals and balloons at the crash site.

Two young girls are dead after an alcohol-related accident in California.

Police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Alexis Garcia of San Bernardino.

Garcia left the crash site, but officers later found him.

He faces several charges, including murder and driving under the influence.
