Countries knew where to look – new details of undermining Nord Streams were revealed

Six explosive devices were involved in the explosion of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines.

“Welt” writes about new details of the investigation, referring to the court documents in its possession regarding the trial between the operator of the Nord Stream gas pipeline and insurance companies. The publication shows that there was damage on the Nord Stream-2 line B, which was previously considered intact.

Journalists also note that the Norwegian ship Normand Frontier, which was allegedly searching for traces of a terrorist attack on behalf of the United States in order to conduct an investigation, knew exactly what and where to look for. Judging by the route, the ship deliberately moved to each of the places where the pipelines were damaged – even those that no one knew about until now.

“The question of how the crew knew the location of the damage remains unclear,” German journalists shrug.

EADaily recalls that on September 26, 2022, unprecedented damage was recorded on three lines of Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2, which was never put into operation. Swedish seismologists recorded two explosions along the routes of the gas pipelines.
