Photos of suspects in the robbery of the post office in Augustów have been revealed

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The U.S. Postal Inspection Service has released photos of suspects accused of robbing a mail carrier in Augusta nearly two weeks after the crime.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service released two photos of the suspects in hopes of catching them.

On November 15, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service offered a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the robbery occurred on Nov. 13 around 4:55 p.m. at 3461 Jonathan Circle.

The victim told deputies he was handing out mail when the suspect, dressed in black and wearing a mask, ran up and grabbed him by the right arm.

Another suspect wearing a gray hoodie put a gun to his chest and robbed him, the victim told officers.

According to authorities, the victim stated that the suspects fled on foot towards Marvin Griffin Road.
