Get fit with CB hosting a Zumba fundraiser for a local student with cancer

VINTON, Va. (WDBJ) – Members Stay fit with CB we danced today to help a William Byrd High School student battling stage 4 cancer.

Camden Thepsimuong was preparing to start his junior year of high school when he was diagnosed with bone cancer in July.

However, since then, the school community has continued to support him.

Two WBHS teachers organized a Zumba fundraiser for his family this afternoon to help with medical costs.

They decided there was no better way to celebrate Cam than to do something he did best.

“When we were thinking about that, I thought: he likes to dance. I’ve seen him dance, so I know he can dance and this will be just right for him,” said Cherry Bell, one of the organizers and owner of Get Fit with CB.
