What did Sean Daley do? One of six men arrested in connection with attack of NHL announcer Paul Bissonnette on whom fake military ID was found

According to reports, Sean Daley, a resident of Lubbock, Texas and one of the alleged attackers of NHL announcer and former Phoenix Coyotes hockey player Paul Bissonnette, was found to have a forged military ID at the time of his arrest.

According to multiple reports, the former hockey player was attacked by a group of men at a Houston restaurant located near McDonald Drive and Scottsdale Road on Sunday, November 24. The attackers arrested during the incident were: Sean Daley, Henry Mesker, John Carroll, William Carroll, Danny Bradley and Edward Jennings.

When officers searched Daley’s wallet during his arrest, they reportedly found a fake military ID. According to Arizona’s family, Daley admitted the ID was fake but did not provide any further information. It is unclear whether Daley, who is reportedly from Lubbock, Texas, served in the military.

However, a Reddit user discovered an Air Force document in which a man named Sean Daley was dishonorably discharged from the service in 2021 and sentenced to 24 months in prison. The name on the Air Force document, Sean M. Daley, matches the name cited in recent arrest records.

Sean Daley accused of kicking Paul Bissonnette’s head during an argument

Paul Bissonnette was eating dinner at a Houston restaurant when he noticed several intoxicated men, including Sean Daley, arguing with the restaurant manager who refused to serve them at the restaurant. The men, who were asked to leave, allegedly became aggressive and began hurling insults at staff, prompting Bissonnette to step in.

When the former hockey player grabbed the man’s arm and then warned him to stop harassing staff, the verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical confrontation that spilled into the parking lot.

Arrest documents say surveillance footage cited in “Arizona Family” shows three or four men, including Sean Daley, attacking the NHL announcer outside a restaurant. Daley reportedly knocked him to the ground and kicked him in the head and neck area. Bissonnette managed to evade the attackers and was later hospitalized.

Six men were later arrested and charged. According to AZ Family, Sean M. Daley faces charges of aggravated assault and forgery, as well as misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct.

Henry Mesker was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Mesker was previously arrested in 2021 in Lubbock, Texas, for evading arrest and public intoxication.

John G. Carroll is charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. William J. Carroll was charged with two counts of assault and two counts of inappropriate conduct.

Danny Bradley and Edward J. Jennings were charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
